Singapore: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai showcased the State’s growing investment potential before the international business community at the SING Forum 2026 in Singapore. He invited investors and business leaders from Singapore to partner in Chhattisgarh’s development journey, underlining opportunities in technology, manufacturing, green energy and other emerging sectors.
Sai said Chhattisgarh had a strong industrial base along with abundant natural resources. The State government was working to combine these strengths with modern technology and improved infrastructure to position Chhattisgarh among India’s leading industrial and investment destinations.
Singapore expertise can complement Chhattisgarh’s potential
The Chief Minister highlighted Singapore’s expertise in technology, urban planning and modern infrastructure, saying that collaboration between Singapore’s capabilities and Chhattisgarh’s industrial and natural strengths could create new avenues of growth for both sides.
He assured investors that the Chhattisgarh government was committed to providing a conducive policy environment and the necessary support for businesses looking to invest in the State. The government, he said, was working to facilitate investment while encouraging long-term industrial activity.
Green energy, logistics and technology on the partnership agenda
Potential cooperation in technology and professional capability centres, logistics, green energy, industrial infrastructure and urban development was discussed during the SING Forum. The discussions focused on ways to connect Singapore’s expertise with the requirements and opportunities emerging in Chhattisgarh.
State looks beyond its traditional mineral-based identity
Sai said minerals and traditional industries would continue to remain important to Chhattisgarh’s economy, but the State was rapidly expanding into new areas. Startups, MSMEs, manufacturing, green energy and technology-driven industries could play a significant role in the State’s future economic growth, he said.
He invited Singapore’s business community to explore these opportunities and consider investing in Chhattisgarh. According to the Chief Minister, new investments would not only strengthen economic activity but also create greater opportunities for employment and skill development for the State’s youth.
Sai’s participation at SING Forum 2026 marks an effort to place Chhattisgarh’s investment potential on the global stage and give a fresh push to economic and technology cooperation between the State and Singapore.
