Chhattisgarh makes a major digital investment push, receives Rs 43,250 crore FDI proposals in Singapore

Singapore: Chhattisgarh has strengthened its position on the global investment map, receiving FDI proposals worth Rs 43,250 crore at the SING Forum 2026 in Singapore. The proposals include a major Rs 41,750 crore investment for a 100 MW hyperscale data centre.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai formally handed over an ‘Invitation to Invest’ letter to Singapore-based Energy Capital Global Pte Ltd for the proposed project. The investment proposal is being seen as a significant opportunity to expand Chhattisgarh’s digital infrastructure and strengthen its presence in the emerging digital economy.

Major push for digital infrastructure

The proposed 100 MW hyperscale data centre could create a modern foundation for data and digital services in the State. Given the scale of the project, it could also generate opportunities across technology, digital services, infrastructure and allied business sectors.

The proposed investment marks an effort by Chhattisgarh to move beyond its traditional industrial identity and establish a stronger presence in new-age sectors driven by technology and digital infrastructure.
